​Ed is the Founder and Managing Director of Kobolt Growth Advisors. He has spent nearly two decades building Boards and Senior Leadership Teams teams for high growth and investor-backed companies.

Ed has a particular depth of experience building Boards and Leadership teams for investor-backed growth-stage software businesses headquartered predominantly in the UK, Ireland and Western European markets. He particularly enjoys team build-outs, where there is the opportunity to combine disparate skills, experiences and characters to build a stronger whole.

He has an MA in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Oxford and the BVC from BPP Law School.

Outside the office, Ed is most likely to be found walking with his family and friends on the cliffs and beaches of Guernsey, or cycling and skiing in the Alps. Ed is a dual-national British-New Zealand citizen, which comes in particularly handy when watching rugby.
