OWNR appoint Jon Walden as Chairman

OWNR, the disruptive leasing proptech platform, have appointed Jon Walden as Non-Executive Chairman through a Kobolt-led executive search process.
Jon brings deep experience of the leasing sector, having built Lex into the UK’s no. 1 car leasing business and took profits from £4m to £72m. More recently as Chairman of Zenith Vehicle Leasing, and with the support of Hg Capital, Jon helped the management team increase the scale of the business and achieve a successful exit to Bridgepoint for £750m.
Jon commented of his appointment to OWNR's board:

Jon is an experienced Non-Executive Chairman with particular expertise working in high-growth private equity backed businesses across the leasing and automotive sectors.
Prior Chairman roles include Kindertons (an automotive credit hire business backed by Sovereign Capital and exited to ExamWorks), Epyx (an electronic marketplace for the automotive sector backed by Hg Capital which exited to Fleetcor), as well as listed group HR Owen Plc. He has also held board seats including Senior Independent Director of FTSE 250 Morgan Sindall Plc and Board Member of FTSE 100 Randgold Plc.
